Ella Duckworth is a registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings.
Ella uses a combination of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. As an experienced psychologist, she recognises that every family is unique and so customises consultations by drawing on the best approach for each family. Ella has conducted research on anxiety during pregnancy at The University of Melbourne and The Royal Women’s Hospital. She has also completed additional Advanced Training in Infant Mental Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Ella is passionate about supporting new mothers by improving their psychological wellbeing, general health and relationships. As a mother herself, Ella understands the demands of parenting and the importance of a positive and calm environment for new babies and their parents. Her goal is to help each family create this kind of environment in their own home.
